Burnt Pine Magazine is an online journal that publishes fiction, creative non-fiction, and poetry that challenges and changes perceptions. It is a newer publication. The magazine is ready to publish their third edition for Fall 2017. The newest edition will be available between October 27th to October 31st.
Jennifer K. Kowalski has had two pieces accepted to the Fall 2017 edition:
“To Mourn the Living” Jennifer’s short piece of creative non-fiction explores the complicated grief surrounding the dissolution of her relationship with and eventual separation from her father.
“Concerning the morning I would not make love to you” is a poem in which Jennifer confronts the small moments when the ghosts of the past invade the present.
